A Sensitive actor, Stylish performer and Magnanimous dancer.Shahid kapoor was born on 25th February 1981.Shahid’s mom and dad are associated with the world of films.Father pankaj kapoor acted on stage, the television and then earned a repute in films as well. Mom Nilima Azim is a classical dancer and an actress.Shahid parents got divorced when he was only 3 year old. And Shahid grew up at his grand parents place.Shahid kapoor did his schooling from Rakhna Vidyalaya of mumbai few people know that Shahid kapoo’s grandpa Anwar Azim was a well known journalist. And Shahid’s great grandfather was a renowned urdu Novelist Journalist and a Stupendous screen writter Khwaja Ahmed Abbas better known as K.A Abbas in the industry Shahid kapoor started his career with a few music Videas and advertisement. He also worked with Shahrukh khan,kajal and Rani in one of these commercials.Shahid kapoor also learnt professional and dancing and was seen as a background dawer in subhas ghais film “TAAL” with Aishwarya rai the song was “Kahi Aag Lag Jawe”.

In 2003 Shahid debuted with his first film. Ishq Vidhi and the film got moderate success. But everyone praised Shahid’s acting and was also conferred with the filmfare best male debut. After that Shahid kapoor was seen with Kareena kapoor and Fardeen khan in Ken Ghosh’fida. And with the film Shahid proved he is no chocolate boy. He can dance perform action scenes. As well as emotional scenes. But after this Shahid kapoor’s stardom didn't last for too long. His film didn't draw any success at the box office. But then came “Jab we met” And Shahid’s acting in this film was commended the film was a blockbuster And what's strange is that Shahid kapoor and kareena kapoor’s affair always made headlines. And as long as they worked together their films were successful. But when they decided to separate then their film “Jab we met”did wonders.

Although there was another Shahid and kareena starrer film. Did release after that but that film was shot long back. And the film was “Milenge milenge”. But the film didn't do any good bussiness at the box office nor good reviews. Shahid gave a power packed performance in vishal bhardwaj’s critically acclaimed “Kaminey” shahid was seen playing a double role in this film. He was seen running along with horses. On breaking pots. Shahid kapoor has all the qualities of a hindi film hero. He can dance,sing, perform action scenes and he can do emotional scenes as well. And he is one of those actors who allows themselves to play any character it's obvious Shahid kapoor’s status is absolutely unique.
